Today’s awakening to the perils that threaten our liberties and our way of life carries with it a sense of alarm.  Were the perils from without there would be, as in the past, anger followed by determination. However, the perils come from within.  They originate with our national elected and appointed officials residing in all three branches of government.  It is this abnormality that gives cause for alarm in addition to the anger and determination.

As the awakening gathers strength and spreads across our land we are casting aside all remnants of apathy and ambivalence about our responsibilities required in governing ourselves.  It is now a reality that we must reclaim the role of policy maker, no longer merely reacting to what is thrust at us by public servants turned usurpers.

These, would be representatives, have usurped the powers reserved to the people and to the States. Furthermore, being dissatisfied with this offense, they seek to satiate themselves with sovereign power over the free will of the individual. They will not succeed in either instance, for their failure is now being determined by the awakened trustees of our Republic—we the people.
